So I just installed my replacement DP that 42 sent me to replace the one I had that the flex section gave out on. I was surprised that they gave me an entire DP instead of maybe just the flex section (any exhaust shop can weld in a new flex). So I don't want to sell the DP because I don't think that would be fair to 42. I also will ask that whoever gets this DP, promise that they are going to repair it, and NOT try to get another replacement from 42. They've done more than enough already. So, I figure a DP is worth a rear sway bar in trade(I guess I'm open to other suggestions as well). This way I can pass this off to someone who's willing to do a LITTLE work to get a quality piece for the 225TT. 42 is a great company. Couldn't be happier with their service and craftsmanship

misread didnt realize it was just the front portion of the dp and not including rear portion test pipe/cat

The back section can be made for cheap(the bends of the actual DP is the difficult part to duplicate). Surprised nobody has jumped on this.

The rust isn't even all the way through the flex section. I'd rather let it go for next to nothing. I don't have the time to deal with it. I'm prepared to hook someone up nicely![]()

I think it's because people are afraid to get into anything that takes a little work. When I reality, it would cost some about $100 to get it to work. I was prepared to replace the flex myself, but getting a new one makes it pointless. If it stays here too long, I WILL replace the flex. Just don't have time right now. What people don't realize, is that the cat section is the easiest part to reproduce (no difficult bends). The turn coming off the turbo is the tough part.

Would love to have it (even though I am terrible at welding) but I have no rear sway bar to trade and if I were to purchase one then I might as well save a little bit and purchase a brand new downpipe. Sorry no one is jumping on it though.
