Thread: Looking for a great mechanic in Northern OH

  1. 08-06-2012 08:49 PM #1
Sadly, our family VW mechanic was tragically killed in a car accident on July 12 driving in his '86 Cabriolet when he was killed by a drunk driver. He used to help me take care of my VW's when I was poor and going to Oberlin. Since then, my father, brother, and sister have all taken their VW's to him. His passing has left a hole in our family. Does anyone know if a GREAT VW mechanic in northern OH? My family lives near Ashland, OH.

Sorry to hear about the accident. Have you tried asking around the regionals? Someone in there may be able to point you in the right direction.

I HIGHLY recommend Brian Butler at Ed Schmidt VW in Perrysburg.

and defnitely check out your local VW forum *(I use ditb.com)
