Thread: Suspension help MK2 GTI VR6 Track car

  1. 08-06-2012 10:36 PM #1
I bought a semi-track car this year and want to take it to the next level.

    Current setup
    92 VR6 GTI track car
    Rollcage
Koni coilovers (off the shelf so unknown spring rates)
15" wheels with Hoosier R6's or RA1's in 205 size
    Disconnected front sway bar
    Corrado front and rear brakes

What I would like to see
Ability to run a larger tire
Ability to run larger brakes in front
Better handling (tell me anything here)
    Spring rates
    Best sway bar setup?
    Camber plate options
Shine racing parts (what works and what do you recommend)

Thanks for any and all info!

Why??? Whats wrong with the car right now that you say you need these?

How many times have you taken it on the track? How consistent are your lap times?

This comes up every month or so. Look back a few pages.
The brakes you have are fine, tire size is fine.
Using my "Dynamic Rear Steer" will help a lot. (patent pending)
