hey guys, so im out in the okanagan right now and went to go for a drive a few days back and leaned into the seat as I was driving and then all of a sudden got thrown way back like a rocking chair. I pulled over and looked at the seat and saw the metal bracket which holds the bottom rail to the seat at the front had sheared right off. I cant believe of all things that this would fail. Needless to say, what do I do now? I have taken some pics of the bracket and today got a very strong wire to hold the seat down for the drive back to Calgary (6 hr drive) next week but I am not too impressed with this bracket failing. Im not a big guy either, only about 180 lbs and 5'11'' give or take. Any one know what to do or have seen this happen?

Get it re-welded cheap as chips.

Who owned the car before you? A big fat lump? or have the seats come from another car?
