The show and judges are such a joke

At the show there was a whole big mis understanding about the trophies in one class and looked at the paper and my friends name showed first place. But was then crossed out and other names were written all over the folder. Spoke to the head judge and he says things were recalculated and u no longer placed. Went from 1st to absolutly nothing. But funny thing is cheked the scores online now and it shows he should have gotten second place. Its nice to know a show gives trophies out to the judges friends instead of the people who actually deserved to win. This is why waterfest SUCKS!!!
If it wasnt for the great friends and good times that are had at the show i know plenty of people who wouldnt even end up going to this show. It just keeps hetting ****tier and ****tier every year.
Worst show all year. Hope for better next year

its not the matter of not getting a $10 trophy
its just the fact that if ur gonna throw a show, do it right

I actually brought this up as well, and was contacted by Dan from Waterfest. We spoke on the phone for about 15 min and he said that he was really disappointed with the judging and those who picked the judges. There was lots of confusion and he wished everything went better.

The were to have a meeting regarding this and said they will fix it for next year.

we stopped going to waterfest in 99. we had decided it wasnt worth the cost, and when the judge decided to look through my glovebox (of my daily driver) to see how clean it was, we decided this was an event we did not want to be part of.
