My father just bought an Audi A4 Quattro wagon with the 1.8T, we noticed on the highway that the brakes could definitely be better. I was thinking i would upgrade the brakes on my 2002 GTI 337 and could give him my brakes(the same brakes as on a TT). The Audi is a 5X112 and the 337 is 5X100 bolt pattern so other than converting this is there any problems? Thank you in advance.
Look into B6 S4 or B5 S4 brakes as good upgrade options. Remember to flush the brake fluid every 2 years regardless of miles. Always use DOT 4 fluid. Fresh fluid and a good set of pads will always help make stopping better.
