seems like there are not any dynos with theses 2 chips out there...i saw one for united motorsports and it was 187hp 187tq..but he got it right after the tune..eitherway im curious if anyone has gotten the stage 2 from unitronic and if its worth it..I wont be going f/i in my car but i want a few more ponys...wondering if its worth the extra 250$? it says 226hp- 220tq...this is one of the next mods for sure on my car.

There was a guy with a dyno sheet of unitronic stage 2 vs unitedmotorport they had about the same power outpout but UM curve was a lot smoother. So the 250$ extra is really not worth it.

That was me. It came out 208/175. Low tq is due to the vacuum actuator going. Bad on me by the intake flapper/runner. Once the car is up and running I will be getting another dyno. Should only be around 3 weeks of wait time.

i have the unitronic stage 2, and love it. they are however, limited in terms of what maps they have available. unitronic does have a file with no evap/sai/rear o2, but the rear o2 isnt completely removed, so you still have to run it, as it will throw codes for the heater circuit.

I will however most likely be going through UM when i boost my car, since the price to upgrade to the big turbo file from unitronic is the same as buying new software from UM.

Just got the UM this afternoon. Very happy. While not huge, there is a noticeable difference in power. Mainly betwen 2500-4500 and over 6k. No more torque maniment (if thats what you call it in the vw world) Meaning it doesn't fall on its face when nearing red line or between shifts. Pulls good right to 7200rpm. Overall driving is much better. Yet again. No huge gains, but overall a much better driving motor. Well worth the $299
