my belts are squeaking and loose, so I went to adjust the AC compressor belt and I noticed that little adjuster bolt is missing (must have somehow gotten loose and fell off) now I need a new one. does anyone know where I can get one? Thanks!

If its the bolt that has the star wheel attached, germanautoparts.com has them for sale new.

i adjusted the alternator bolt (the star shaped one) just for kicks, and it seems to have worked. I still have a missing bolt connecting the AC compressor to the car, so i think I still need to get a new one. also the power steering seems to squeal when i turn the wheel to max, the belt is tight though. fluid is fine. is that normal or is the PS pump dying?

Go to a wrecking yard, and find a older rabbit/Cabriolet and take the old style tensioner bracket off, and get the adjuster bolt set up instead of the star. It is easier to adjust and keep squealess.

Grounds, Grounds, Grounds Replace them things.
Divorces, Great Coffee, and Electrics, all start with GOOD Grounds.

    Where are my grounds ?
