I was looking to do an interior LED swap and came across these..

http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Volkswagen-...-p/vw-df10.htm - For front and rear dome lights, when you hit checkout they also offer vanity lights..

    and

    http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Audi-TT-Q5-...e-led-c-s5.htm - License Plate LED

Claims to be Error/Code Free and seems to have more LED (brighter lights). Price is reasonable as well, what do you guys think?

I already got these license LED's and they do not work well for the B7. The electrical connector will not mate with the car's electrical connector (totally different) plus you got to figure out a place to stick the resistors that they do not show in the picture, which make them error free. They fit in the hole perfectly, but that's where the perfection ends. You can always chose to use scotchlocks and splice them in, but I chose not to do that. they are nice and bright as well. Just not P-n-P. I sent them back and got a refund. Note that the description states for 08-10 Passat. I'm still looking for the perfect plug and play LED lamps. For the interior lamps, You can use any LED lamp, as the interior bulb circuits are not monitored for current draw. I put some cheapo red LED's from Ebay in my footwell lamps - red is good for not ruining your nightvision - and no error codes!

I haven't touched my license plates.

But I have switched out every interior bulb with an LED bulb. I did map/dome lights, glove box, footwell and trunk.

At the moment these are the only pictures i have.

I went with a theme. Since most of the instrument panel is white accented by red, all the interior LEDs are read except the front map lights (so I can actually read stuff). It's actually a pretty good brightness in person, the picture just makes it look extra red. I'll try to take some better pictures one of these days if I can.

Tried the ones from ECS Tuning and I ran into the same issue as Norm. The connectors are NOT the same and they also come with a metal canbus box that has to be mounted somewhere or it would rattle around inside if not. The only other option I haven't tried are some of the error free LED bulbs that have the built in resistor on the actual bulb. anyone try these yet??

Hard to say without a good picture of what's inside the adapter socket. Here's a pic of the license lamp fixture with the plug removed. It looks like it may, but caveat emptor!

A lot of places offer LED Lamps for the MK6, I'm just not sure if they have the same connectors. If anyone can verify its the same and they are compatible, I'll order a set and post the results.

As for the HIDs, seems like there are members here who've had success with HID Kits from USP Motor Sports. Canbus HID kit with the MK6 Bulb adapters. Plan to order myself a set later this week as well.

Zarar, I purchased the kit. Thanks a lot for the link. It comes with everything you need for the install, including the MK6 bulb adaptors so you don't have to butcher your factory ones.

I purchased the MK6 adaptors off eBay before I even had a kit picked out a few days ago for $3.00 with free shipping, I look at my statement today and see he added an extra $20. I am going to dispute the **** out of that, but that is a different story

I shipped the kit via UPS Ground so it should be here by Thursday the latest. I will let you know how the install goes. I expect to be extremely easy, since my right side low beam went out the other day, is very easy to get to access, the other side seems easy to access, and I put 4,300 HID's in every car I owned unless they came from the factory with them.
