I have a unique car build going on that is using the PD TDi engine, and I was hoping to use an Audi Multitronic transaxle in this particular build. The problem that I am having is that although the car is longitudinal driveline, it is transmission-forward. In the current configuration, I would have five revers gears and one forward . So, I was wondering if anyone knew if these transmissions depended on being "right-side-up", or if a 180 degree turn (rendering it upside-down) would affect the oiling, etc of the transaxle. Anyone have one apart?
