I'm in the process of doing a semi-wire tuck and I've lost track of this one connector. All others are labelled and accounted for but for some reason I didn't label this one

it comes from the harness that goes to the fuse box on top of the battery (originally). I can't remember if it was more towards the front of the car or if it went up the wire cowl.

    anyone know what that is?

looks similar to the maf plug, you got that plug accounted for?

    yep maf is accounted for

can anyone maybe take a look under their hood? it should be easy to spot and trace. If you look at the top of the battery you'll see the fuse box - follow the wires from the plug connected to the fuse box itself and maybe 3-4 inches down that wire bundle is where the plug in question is.

I just can't remember if it was connected to something near the rad support somewhere or if it went up the other way through the harness cowl up towards the firewall etc...... I know I marked every single plug but the masking tape that I used musta come off this one plug (who knows).

Can anyone take a look at the plugs / wires that are mounted on a bracket connected to the starter? I remember there being a similar sized plug there.... can anyone confirm?

    nope not the headlight

I just went over the entire harness again..... and there's no other available plugs that would fit that "mystery" plug I'm asking about. I'm so lost. Freaking painters tape ugh. Shoulda used duct tape.

I think it goes right over the starter. It powers the aux water pump and some and something else.

I traced back where I put the plugs that slide onto the starter bracket - I think those are the ones we're both talking about. There's a metal bracket that bolts onto the starter and a couple plugs meet up there along with the SAI pump plug etc. Just where does that connect to?

I don't wanna put the engine back in until I sort this out.... just in case I need to move the wiring around. Does anyone have a pic of the main harness in a BDF? I can't seem to find one, only the engine harness shows up in my searches.

i know there are one or two connectors that connect the engine harness to the body harness right in that area.

nope, I've got that one accounted for. ugh this is frustrating. I didn't cut anything except for the part of the harness that had the windshield washer jets and the side fender markers. and I bloody marked everything with masking tape but this one fell off. If it plugs into some other part of the harness I'm just not seeing it.

thanks for trying so far tho guys I appreciate it. it looks like I gotta unwrap everything and lay it all out on the floor again

if anyone has any clue plz let me kno. I really don't wanna take this all out again....

Give me wire colors and positions in that plug. Might be able to trace it in the Bentley wiring diagrams

found that plug in my bay. i didnt extend any of those wires and i have it next to the starter. so it has to be in that area somewhere. looks like it runs to the front of the motor.
