Truth. I put a divot in my accord's fender just by pushing down on the suspension

Yup, my side skirts are proof of that, kicked off my boots a few times the first winter I had my Civic... nice line of dents lol. Did that to my mom's Hyundai, my old mk3 golf, and her old protege 5, never seen anything like it lol...

You could always report it that you found it that way when you returned to the parking garage. Or there were some jackass kids playing football in there street where you parked it. Really doesn't matter, since it's going to be covered by your comprehensive coverage.

Just make damn sure that back seat is put back in before the adjuster take a look at it.

Right, but before you concoct some totally believable story like that, make sure someone posts up a Youtube vid of your drunk ass running into the fender.

What do you think your insurance would frown on more? The damage or the fact that you're intoxicated and might be operating the vehicles while under the influence?

i think theyd be more worried about the fraud you are trying to get away with by falsifing a claim

Seems like it would be cheaper and more durable if you DYI the fender with Papier-mâché

If you're near a major city someone is sure to have a garage full of hot parts for those.

Seriously, the rear quarter of my brother's '97 has even worse damage from one of his friends pushing another into it. Great cars, weak metal.
