So... Anyone do slideshows?

Really wanting to do one for the airshow we just had, I have soo many shots I dont even know what to do with.. 6,000 total shots, about 3k useable for a slideshow.. Any tips, pointers, examples?

Also maybe some software ideas, I have a feeling Windows Live Movie Maker isnt the best
