I've been without a watch for almost a year, now I'd like to start wearing it again. It was put away after I hit it on something while I was wearing it and had a hole punched through the crystal with the chip ending up inside the face. Is it a fairly easy thing to replace? It's not a particularly nice watch but I like it's weight.
Take it to my local watch store to get it repaired?
    Thnx for the help.

I think that would be best. In my experience a good watch smith is nice enough to at least give you an idea of how to DIY, and/or give you an honest opinion on the difficulty.

Or at least post up pics of the watch so we can give a better answer.
