yeah man, def went through alot of cars....

2000 VW JETTA 1.8T : first car i have ever owned, was gift from parents, used... great car... but it was an auto! also took it for an oil change and they stripped my oil pan and had water pump issues, so i decided it was time to trade it in for....

2004 VW JETTA GLI 1.8T 6 SPEED: First car I purchased on my own, and one i can say i dearly miss. it was a love what is best described like your first kiss, or first girl friend. Recaro Seats, 6 speed, body kit... H&R kit..... then of course later that year the beast comes out and had to get it!!!

2004 VW R32 (Black) Leather seats.... one of the best sounding cars and boy did this car move!!!! didnt really modify this car and the only reason why i got rid of this car was because someone offered me 35k for the car after one year that i have owned it.... so it was worth to get rid of it...

2007 Audi A6 3.6 so this was the car that i got after the R32! i decided to go more of an executive look... cvt trans. MMI was hard to use... but it was really classy and it drove great! but i was missing my last baby... so i decided to get a second car... and got a sliver r32!

2004 VW R32: so since i got this care and kept the audi... i decided to make this more of an project car since it wasnt my everyday commuter!... i did a VF stage 3 supercharger! OZ wheels... H&R suspension... one of the fastest/ best sounding cars...

after that my least was over on the Audi and sold my r32(due to a awesome cash offer) and got a

2007 VW GTI 2.0T 6 Speed Great car.. didnt have the same power or sound of the r32 but it did have a great interior! nav, wheels... ect.. after a couple years decided to least a A8

2009 AUDI A8 4.2L Truly the best overall car I have ever owned... refined, powerful, awesome handling sexy.... great design.... truly miss this car... but it was a 21 month lease to i had to give it back!

after those cars... I decided to Jump over so I got a

2010 BMW 525: this was a overall a great car... handled great... no complaints... the only thing i highly recommend is a warranty and maintenance plan is a must!!!!! after being happy for a couple of years i got rear ended and the car was totalled out....

so I decided to VW and got

2012 VW GLI Autobahn DSG

great car for the price point... drives like a dream! beautiful interior and audi like body style but best of all I missed to VW culture, car meets... VW people and forums... the VW community this a best thing about owning a VW!

I too agree that the VW community has made owning my car even more enjoyable. I was leaning towards Audi A6, but just couldn't bring myself to spend the $$$ and my goal was max mpg anyway. Audi is really nice without being too pretentious - unlike MB and BMW. Fine cars no doubt, but they also make a statement like "My law firm makes more money than yours".

VW has always been the kind of car that people specifically chose over other cars. For what reason is a very personal matter and I believe that is why the VW community makes owning one so fulfilling. As your own personal story demonstrates.

Even with the shift in focus to the masses with the Jetta and Passat, I think VW will always remain a "choice" car.

Yea, Corona VW is where I saw the car, but..... My buddy is a General Sales Manager at Ontario VW, so I had him do a Dealer trade from Corona and bought it from Ontario VW....

I got them at DDM Tuning in Huntington Beach, CA They are the SB60 1156 bulb

I have a MK6, GLI. The R was a lease for four years, I was going to lease the new R, but didn't like they took the VR6 engine out, so I settled with the GLI which I'm happy with.
