    picking up a b3 wagon...I'm wondering what there is for seat options...sport seat upgrade...what fits fits and so on...any ideas or swaps done out there?

    Someone just posted a DIY a week or so backon making the bases for a set of Recaro to fit in his Passat.
    Search for it, it was a pretty good thread with photos.

    Easiest swap is from mk3 sport seats. They are a straight fit. I think some has put mk4 front seats on b4.

    But if you want to install aftermarket seats the best way is to do it by cutting old seat frames and weld them into new seats.

    Dave; put the recaros into the wagon. Izzo pointed out a great thread.

    Title was omething like 50$ recaros find or something like that.

    If you are going for a better support. I would go mk3 sports seat; recaros; trophies. I that order of upgrade...

    Cant u put mk4 seats in a b3, it seems like it would be the same prosses as putting them in a mk2

    I'm pretty sure you cant just installed mark4 seats into a mark2 without modification. I had to cut and reweld the leg/frame on my recaros. Measure 3 times, cut once.
