    Never post in the Mk4 forum anymore. But, Had some pics stashed on the computer from my trip cross country in the Mk4 from the East coast to West coast for a new Job. Nothing special. Just a loaded down mk4 and some good scenery. Not to mention a hiccup along the way. Enjoy:

    just 1 hiccup along the way isn't too bad. full size spares are so handy

    Honestly these cars are pretty reliable if there isnt too much done to them. If you do modifications to them make sure they are done correct. Poorly modified equipment is the downfall of these cars.

    Alot of these people here have problems because they create them
    Believe me...If it has wheels or an engine I can blow it up!

    True statement with the mods and all. I havent tampered much with the vr6. Only thing I have done under the hood has been the timing chains which a buddy of mine and I did last summer. Car has 133k on it now and is holding up well. It has been paid off for years. The views along the trip were amazing. Route 66 is pretty brutal on a vehicle. One of the best detours i took was a trip around Lake Havasu. Thanks for the compliments guys.
