if you have fog light as DLR, and when you blink, fogs will go off.
Police / taxi - are special car, with special modules. They have something like Traffic Recorder, Accident recorder etc. Also few extra button on the dasch to activate Alarm, Emergency call, Switch ON interior light etc.

No DRL while blink? Does this mean the car will operate like late-model Chryslers in that when you activate a turn signal, the DRL on that side of the car shuts off? Sorry, didn't have time to test this out earlier.
Another, what are these special functions for Police/Taxi, etc?

Activate needle illumination in ALL MICRONAS cluster since 2004 up to 2010. Activate STAGING for all NEC cluster since 2008 even if not availabe in adaptation chanel.

Would it be just the fog or headlamp on the signal side that goes off, like the Chryslers, or do they both go out?

Too bad Vag-Com doesn't interface with makes outside the VAG family. Would love to make some changes to the programming of my wife's car- 2008 Taurus X AWD.

Firstly, VCDS doesn't program anything. It changes coding. Basically, programming is putting information into a module, coding is telling it what to do with that information.

Exactly why I said "interface with" instead of "program"..... Yes I said "make changes to the programming", but that means making changes to what's already there- choosing among options just like on a VAG vehicle. Originally Posted by Anony00GT
