RARE opportunity to own a piece of Audi history. When was the last time you saw a one owner? This one was in the same family since new and prior to the owner passing away was always serviced by the same Porsche/Audi new car dealer in NY (after relocating from Virginia in 1998) through 132,000 miles and documented on the Carfax Certified history report. Finished in Alpine White w/ Black leatherette it has had one prior repaint in it's life due to paint fading. Incredibly clean and rust free undercarriage it's obvious the car was garaged until my acquisition in 9-2009. The family pushed this beauty to the side until deciding it was time to sell. In addition to having all the original books & manuals there was also a rare full size spare Ronal alloy wheel plus an extra vintage Audi air filter & oil filter in their original packaging. Since acquiring the car I had a major service/inspection completed during 8-2012 including new timing belt,fuel pump,fuel filter,shielded spark plug harness & plugs,lubrication service,new battery and general going over. Prior to that major work at the Audi dealer included a new catalytic convertor,F&R brakes,lines,brake flush,upgraded Clarion audio system w/ cassette,cooling system service and a/c system repairs. FYI : the air conditioning is ice cold !! Options for the car include : automatic transmission,air conditioning,factory steel sunroof,power windows,power steering,power brakes,power mirrors,cruise control,rare Ronal alloy wheels,rear wiper/washer/defroster,full instrumentation including console gauges,factory tinted windows and all the standard factory equipment. EVERYTHING WORKS : including the cruise control AND the analog dash clock !!! There are NO leaks or drips underneath anywhere. The car is bone stock car from new except for maintenance items and the added Audi Sport logos on the front fenders. All the original keys present too : three in total plus the original leather w/ embossed "lost key return postage guarantee" and metal Audi logo tag. The factory removable body color steel sunroof needs a new handle gear because it is binding with cable interface. Since completion of all the major servicing the car is scheduled for a complete overall detailing after I use it for a leisurely 1000 mile road trip through New England. Will look even more amazing than the current pics after which I will be driving it regularly for pleasure use until sold. Just an amazing piece of history and as such I will not entertain any offers : the price is more than fair and firm. You'll only see another at collector auctions or specialty car shows.
