Was thinking of doing et25 all around and space accordingly then run 225/35/19's of some small variety like nitto neo gen, federal 595 or achilles str.

I know SaltyD did it but that was back in non-low balloon tires days.

    I'm running 19x9.5 et40 with 235/35s sitting pretty low on my W8

Tires clear everything fine, but inside lip of the wheel is pretty close to the spindle, and rear upper strut mount (4mo).

    Better shot showing fitment

I think a 19x10 et25 would have an unnecessarily low offset. A 19x10 et 30 should give you plenty of inside room I'd think (comparing to what I've got) and unless you want that crazy stretch look, I think a 235/35 would be better suited than 225 (I've got achilles atr sports btw)

so how low could you really go on 19s without actually starting to break the axles and other stuff on the car

You won't ever snap an axle becasue of lowering... but you will wear out the joints faster with more low.... You'll run out of tire room before you run out of frame room.

and as evidenced by my strut towers you'll put the upper arms into them before you bottom as well.

I was at 24" FTG with stock wheels, going 19s raised the car a tad, so I dropped it down another half an inch. I think I'm about 3" lower than stock now (if I remember correctly). I busted one aftermarket axle (inner joint came apart) and that was with stock wheels at 24", but haven't had any problems after (knock on wood). But yes, my upper control arms have hit the top of the wheel wells.
