is there a way to turn off the damn daytime running lights.......I went to the drive in and damn things wouldnt shut off lol

Did you look in your owners guide? For the GLI, it was hold the turn signal down(left turn) and pull the stalk back (flash high beams), hold and turn the key to on for 3 seconds then off. It might be the same for all.

Just the first click....

now that I think about it, was one way to enable them and the other to disable them.... left(down)/back or right(up)/back, key on for 3 seconds, then key off. I can't remember which was which though. sorry.

Just leave em on, they are some of the better looking DRLs on the roads today.

You can always just take the bulbs out if it bothers you that much.
Or...TFL pin?

they are good looking yes but not so good at a drive in........and what pin do I bend and where is it located......I have to say im pretty car dumb sorry

Someone posted here not too long ago about finding the fuse for them and pulling it at the drive in as well.

Should be fuse 37 and 38 for the DRL
