There have been similar threads, but I enjoy them. Growing up, there are the cars which you just fall in love with, the ones you doodle in grade school and end up as wallpaper on your work PC when you get older. So here's to the ones that if I had an unlimited budget and big ass garage, They'd be in there:

    Classics

    Morris Mini

    64 Continental

    57 BelAir Nomad

    65 Mustang

    64 Impala

    80's - grade school days

    Mark VI

    Datsun 280Z

    Supra MK2

    Grand Wagoneer

    Cherokee - thanks Goonies

Subaru Brat a.k.a - the Stomper

    1990's

    NX2000/Sentra SE-R

    Skyline

    Legend Coupe

    '97 NSX-T

    MKVII & VIII LSC

    Accord Coupe...only the coupe

    S8

    740il

And if I was to go out and pick up a couple current models to throw in the mix

    Ok, I'll play.

However, I think you should limit this to 5 TOP cars. Otherwise, people will just post a million cars. I would love to own one of everything..........But the ineteresting stuff is on the top of the list.

    1. Porsche 993 Turbo

    2. A MINT MINT MINT E36 M3, Bonus for a special edition.....

    3. NSX

    4. 190E EVO

    5. Any old sports car, Can be a BMW 507, a Mercedes Gullwing, A DB5, A 60s Ferrari Coupe...I just dream of rowing a perfect example of a classic sports car throught its gear and just feeling the leather and metal in the car.

Throughout junior high and the beginning of high school, this was the only car on my mind. Still wouldn't mind owning one.

Lets see what cars did I lust for in grade school and middle school...

    At various points in time:
    Mclaren F1
    SN95 Mustang GT
4th gen Camaro SS - One of my neighbors and his kids collectively owned 3 or 4 of these all at the same time
    F430 Spyder

Thanks to Various Need for Speed Games
    R34 Skyline GTR
    E46 BMW GTR
    Lamborghini Gallardo

Basically I liked all the fast popular cars that everyone else liked.

I didn't care about cars till I had my license. I did like a few thru high school
My list of cars I wanted
    -92 GTI 16v
    -2000 BMW 540I mt
    -69 Fiat 500
More recently I been wanting 740I and A8. I think my true bucket list would be owning every model of VW before 2000.
    I'm almost there.

I was never into Ferraris Lambos etc. Even now, I don't care for one.

In no particule order, when I was a kid, these were teh cars that influenced me and that I always wanted...

I love cars, but the problem is they are like schroedinger's hobby. They're always in a quantum superstate of being both awesome and a huge waste of time and money... until observation momentarily forces them into one state or another.
