Alright, guys. I know I'll probably get a bit of hate for this, but whatever.
I am currently rally prepping my TT for my local dirt track/snow/light off-roading.
My next step in this process is a lightbar.
My setup is going to be two sets of KC Daylighters for the roof lights.
I was originally going to get an OEM roof rack and integrate the lights onto that, however it turned out to be a little out of my price range, on top of being difficult to find.
    So my question is:
Is there any way to use the four stock OEM rack mounting holes to mount the lights onto?
I can fabricate my own brackets, I was just wondering if there was any type of bolt or clip that goes into the rack mounts that I can use to keep them in there without drilling into my roof.

    Thanks.

the thule racks are much cheaper than the OEM racks, especially used. why not modify one of those?

    cheers

also some of the racks I've seen have a black like air deflector that could look really clean if you cut holes and mounted the fog lights flush in

    something like this:

Does it utilize the factory mounts?
I was under the impression that the Thule racks were a universal window-mount type.

no, they don't use the factory mounts...that's part of why they are so much cheaper than OEM. but, for your needs, i'd think universal mount would work assuming cost is an issue.

I get where you're coming from, but cost isn't that much of an issue.
I just don't want to spend all that money on an OEM rack just to cut it up.
Hence my resorting to fabricating brackets around mounting bolts/clips/whatever from an OEM rack
