Mk2 headlight switch problems

I'm needing to replace the headlight switch in my MK2 GTI. The only problem is that I'm finding several different switches saying that they will fit this car. Mine is the 10 prong switch with item number 191941531N which I've only found for around $30. If I get the 10 prong with item number 191941531H it's only about $10. Will the cheaper one fit in my car and work? Why are there so many different ones for the same car? Sorry if this has already been discussed but my search didn't show anything up.

does the plug show the dash dimmer on the top, because if so thats the one for you

both model numbers look the same from the front, and only slightly different from the back
