Hey Guys just want to be sure i am reading this right....

I may be swapping a 24v VR into my MK4 and ditching my 1.8T... i want to keep the tranny and so i have to swap the bellhousing from a 4cyl to a 6 - but i believe my only option for a viable doner is a Mk4 12v or 5 speed 24v ? The 02M bell housing is different and the 02A doesn't have the dogbone mount....

is this correct ? i have seen a wide price range on these from 50-70 bucks all the way up to 400 on ebay... any suggestions ?

APT - how much would you charge for a used one ?

02A do not have dogbone mounting. 02J 5 speeds have the dogbone mounting on the bellhousing side of the trans as do all 02M transmissions. The bellhousings will not interchange between transmissions other than identical series (02M with 02M and etc).
