I was wondering if anyone rewired the blinker signal into their fog light. Is it just putting the wire in the rear fog lightvterminal? Or is it more complicated then that
Cheers

im going to jump a wire into the passenger side for the fog and pop the cap out n install a bulb. previous owner did driver side only cause technically in the US thats the legal way. seems pretty simple.

On the MK4... I'll correct myself... it requires modifying the bulb tray itself to redo the functions
US = no requirements for rear fogs
In Europe... the driver side only is a legal requirement due to its close proximity to the rear stop lights (has to be a 10 cm minimum distance to have dual rear fogs)

What is there to modify.

if you look at the bulb tray... all the chrome is the "wiring"
you can try swapping the pins around on the connector to see if it works...
and/or see if the jetta wagon bulb tray fits
