Thread: 97 fwd audi rear rotors?

    im new to the audi world and i just bought a 97 a4 1.8t fwd and it needs rear rotors and pads and i was told that they are rotors with bearings in them im just wounderin how hard is the job and what am i going to need to do them if anyone has a diagram or a brake down picture of the rotors could u help me out......

    Pics would be in a Bently Manual for that car. I have installed the bearing races in that style of rotor with simple hand tools, just take your time. You will need to get the inner and outer bearing (they come with the races) and also an inner seal for each rotor. Putting the races in the freezer for some time makes them slightly easier to install.

    thank u for the info i got the job done it took alittle time but i figured it out and had a little help from the audi dealer in mass but wasnt as hard as i thout
