    Hi all,
    Curious if we are able to Re-Calibrate transmission thru VagCom.
    Let it Re-Learn (adapt) process.

    Anyone done this ? If so, where in vagcom? THX

    Your tranny constantly adapts to your driving style. Resetting it will make it really sloppy in the beginning.

    I just had the new transmission flash done today, and even though, as TIGSEL colorfully puts it, the shifting might be "sloppy", the improvement on the one route that I most noticed the lugging issue was noticeable.

    I'm assuming here that the new flash reset whatever "learning" the transmission has done in the 5000 miles I've had the car, but I could be wrong.
