So- I need some help. I did a pressure test the night before last and found several cracked hoses in the car. I replaced the 3 coming into the front of the engine from the metal piece all the way to the N249 and N112. Now, when I drive the car, it feels like the turbo is not boosting at all. I can hear it "whooshing," but it sounds like it is just going to the free air. Any ideas on what I've done wrong?

    About the car:
    GTI 1.8t AWP
Tuned at APR about 3 weeks ago
    Forge 007 DV
CEL is NOT on- no codes.

Do you have boost gauge? If yes does it show any boost?

Make sure all the hoses replaced were same diameter. most were 3 and 4mm. If too big and leaking at connectors the n75 wont work and it will let the WG open at its spring rate. Does it feel like it has some cause stock spring on WG will still push 5 not much but some? may have also knocked some other hose loose. Maybe the 90 degree turbo hose on top of turbo going to hardpipe happens a lot.

Check all the power connectors on the 2 valves you were working on. you may have snapped the wire in the harness causing them to not work but that usually causes CEL.

hmm...Thats a good point. Even I have a problem like this with my boost 'fluttering' but it really is a exhaust leak, but still, i replaced a lot of them hoses and some plastic T's. I may just got ahead and do a n249 delete.
