Ok so here is the deal. Car is an 87 jetta swapped in a 97 vr6 and splice in the harness. Car runs all gauges work like it should, problem I'm having is the car runs and runs well it just idles like total ****. No codes other than secondary air and purge valve. Car stinks and o2s are sitting at zeros across the board as far as any regulation goes which is where i think my problem lies. I know the heaters are powered through fuse 18 the fuel pump circuit, So two questions, 1. are the heaters supposed to shut off ? 2. Is there something i am missing that is supposed to switch the o2s on to regulation. Looking through the bentley at the diagrams i can't find anything, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
