WTB: 16V Venturi

EDIT: actually change my mind on wanting this piece. The part where it jams in the throttle body draws me away from it.

that is a rare to find piece. the reason for that is that in early 90 vw removed the venturi form production due to a recall or service bulletin on that piece coming loose and jamming the operation of the butterfly inside the TB.

just curious why do u need it, if vw removed them from the TB?

maybe some one building a period correct car; a nostalgic person; or some one like me that was to have every amenity or curiosity vw put on a certain ; and he has to have it...

So thats why very few of them had it. I don't see how the piece can come loose. I mean the idle screw holds it in place, but I can see the part of it jamming up.

I was always under the impression that those were only offered on the California Emission cars that VW produced as those are the only cars that I've seen them installed on...
