Thread: Corrado fuel tank swap

  1. 08-11-2012 10:53 AM #1
    Hello,

I have a G60 car . What I like to do is put the The larger 18 gallon fuel tank for more range. I would like someone who has done this give some advice on this. Is there other options out there that will also work.........Thanks for your time.............

To do what you are asking would require you to weld in a VR6 trunk Floor pan.

Not very feasible. Doable? Sure, anything is...

Or just buy a decent SLC shell and put all of your G60 stuff in it.

I know for a fact VR6 tanks do NOT fit G60 bodys.
Your only pratical option is a fuel cell.

If you want more range swap a TDI in to it
Throw an Audi engineer down a hole with a ladder and he will fashion a shovel from it and tunnel his way out

Yep - you have to cut out the floor pan.

It sits about 1.5 inches higher than the G60 fuel tank - so the floor has to go.
