    UPDATED WITH PICTURES
    Red VW GTI VR6 for sale or trade for running VW bug.

    I have had the car for a year and have always taken care of it.Since Ive had it, I have replaced the cooling pipe with a billet aluminum one. New NGK spark plugs and wires. Always had oil changes with full synthetic. Car runs and has never left me stranded, but recently has started running rough and have not had time to figure it out. Comes with both the original MK3 GTI wheels and a set of MK4 GTI wheels. Interior is in great condition. driver side seat has a repairable rip. body has minor rust, had started sanding and repairing myself but again have not had time to finish. needs new driver side axle. Really cool project car, really fast when running right, also gets 30mpg, passed emissions last year. have always wanted an air cooled VW bug so trying to sell this or trade this to get one.

    $1500 OBO or trade for running air cooled VW bug
    not opposed to parting out if for the right price

    Some body rust is in the description you know it's primer.

    depending on how amateur/extensive the work is I may consider buying it and dealing with it.. it is red ya know.

    i see illnois plates on there... im willing to bet the rockers and floors are rusty jones .. but for the price? its not bad. the last car i bought from chicago was rusty. went over some tracks really fast and the tower fell off
