Thread: Need help deciding between two VW models

    Hi everyone,

I've been hanging around this forum for a bit researching VW cars. Now that I'm actually gonna get one, I can't decide ><

I was thinking of getting a used 2011/2012 VW CC from the beginning and was pretty much set on it until I came across some great deals on new 2012 VW Passats around my area (~2000 off invoice!).

There is this one 2012 VW CC with 26k miles on it and is going for a really cheap price (4k less than the new Passat). The rest I've seen are only about 1k-2k cheaper than if I got a new Passat.

My primary concern would be the reliability of a 1 year CC that's traveled so many miles and the depreciation of a new car.

So I would just like to consult everyone's expertise. Is it a better idea for me to get a used CC or a new Passat?

    Any advice is much appreciate!

Why don't you get a current CC leftover? I believe they are discounting the heck out of them now thanks to the facelift.

I would if I could find any. It looks like many dealers around my area are already out of the 2012 ><

EDIT: I searched in a wider radius and there appears to be 1 or 2 good deals. But that just adds to my dilemma haha

Consider this: VW is offering 0% interest on all new gasoline models, for 66 months. If you will keep it until paid off consider this :
how much interest will you pay on the used CC?
how much will the new CC be worth in 66 months vs used one?
How much warranty coverage do you want?
If you can get new one for $2K below invoice i would go for it.
