like the title says the LED's I purchased a year ago have the lead built on to them its like all in one housing and you disconnect it from the plug not just pull the bulb out, well I lost the OEM housing lead that came with the original lead's and now im looking to buy new led's for my drl but i need the housing if someone might want to sell theirs or knows where I can buy it it would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to buy from the dealer because they will charge like 30$ each for a piece of plastic. thanks

I think i've seen it online come up as the socket for the DRL. What it should be is the plastic housing that has a bulb socket on one end and a plug on the other side to attach to the wires that power the DRL. if I had a picture I would post it. but in my car it was black plastic. 2011 VW Jetta SE 2.5

lol there's no item in ETKA for it, not sure what that means but usually it means that it is "part" of an assembly, in this case the headlight. If you can get a P/N from the one in the other headlight I can look it up.

problem is...the LED i purchased had sockets built into them. I dont have either socket for the DRL. if someone could just take out the DRL socket out of thier headlight and take a photo of it and post the p/n it would be appreciated.

Sorry, Just crappy cell phone pics, my wife has my camera at the moment! on the back it says PAG-GF30, then below that, it says...160 382. I have this additional part after hunting high and low to scavenge from a vortex member here. I needed it because my own got mangled, when trying to take my bulb socket out one day, It got stuck, also i used a long needle nose pliers, and I wrecked the part you hold on to. I tried to buy one, when I went to dealer, they sold me one that looked nothing like this. The part they sold me had connection points in the cap where it connects to twist into place. When i tried to get a replacement, they said its not a numbered part, so Id have to order the whole dang headlight...BTW, I still haven't put it in, as I haven't been able to get my mangled one out!

This one I got from here at the vortex salvage. LIke I said, Dealer told me at VW that you cannot order this part as it has no number on it, but thats not true, it does have a number (160 382 or Pa6-GF30). Ask the dealer and provide the number 160 382 or Pa6-GF30, see what, if anything comes up.
