I am not sure if you are just referring to engines, or actually talking about getting an R32 instead.

I would go SC 24V in the wagon.

sorry for the misunderstanding.... the .:R motor would be going in the wagon mated to an o2m... both setups would make close to the same amount of power... just can't figure out which id rather

SC .:R. Would be way outta my price range.... I already have the 24v so I would just need to get a SC kit... my complete 1.8t swap and 24v long block (pm if interested) would need to be sold plus cash outta pocket to get the .:R

I would supercharge the 24v since you already have the motor.

I say supercharged 24v. It makes more sense, and they sound amazing. how can you beat the sound of a 24v WITH the whine of a superchager? Mind you I'm saying this having owned 2 1.8t's and I still approve this message. lol

there are pro's to both options.... both got power, both have a slight wow factor in a wagon and both would essentially cost just around the same to get them running

I'd vote .:R swap, a sc vr doesn't do much for me, the power you gain isn't worth the money in my eyes... plus it'll be a cooler

Car that looks good from afar.

the whine of the SC with the growl of the vr6 would be quite nasty
