same limits as any other 02a based gearbox. gears are prone to failure around 350 ft/lbs of tq. may happen right away, may never happen. Depends on the fatigue of the case, the abuse, the clutch, tires. etc. etc. etc.
p.s. your friend is making stuff up, so probably just best to start ignoring his advice.

Question about Passat G60 syncro gearbox

Hi, my question is how many hp the g60 gearbox can handle ? A friend told me that this gearbox is maxed @ 200whp. Is there something to do with it to handle more ? Interchanging parts from other vw gearbox ?
