Thread: MK6 on 20s

  1. 08-12-2012 03:57 PM #1
Is DFWSkate really the only one who has ran 20s?? If not post up some pics in here of your MK6 on 20s. Thanks ahead of time and please dont flame this thread to death for being about 20s. I have seen plenty of 19s which I think look great but just curious what 20s look like

I had the oppurtunity to test fit one of the wheels that I have in mind and they are 19s. I gotta say it's going to need to be at the perfect height for it to look right.

Yea that is what I was thinking also. It is definitely going to have to be the right height. I just find it hard to believe he was the only one.

Thanks man and it's ok. It could've been worse.

As far as 20s go, I wouldn't recommend them static. I was on air and wasn't low enough IMO but the offsets held me up.

I'm not to worried about going super low like you are, but was hoping for some pictures of other MK6s on 20s to see how low I was going to get it to look right. Plan on being static, since bags are so 'spansive. Plus I have never bagged a car. I was thinking static with some camber would look right, but kinda leaning towards 19s after hearing what you thought about them.

only way you can pull off 20s is if your on air. if your on coils you wont be able to go low and it will look funny.

Thats what I was afraid of, tucking the tires but still sitting at stock height basically
