bump anyone has seen a similar setup?

I'm planning on turbocharging my MK2. As it is now :
-Engine : ABA with 276 cam, intake, exhaust, Megasquirt 1 v3.0
-Transmission: 02A CRU (3.300 1.944 1.308 0.971 0.756 4.24)
I'm planning on adding a little Garrett T3 series 60 trim turbo .48 exhaust side at around 8-10 psi (looking for around 200hp / 200 lb-ft torque)
My question is : Since my transmission has very short ratios, is it going to be unpleasant to drive ? I'm scared i'll always be at the redline to quickly..? Anyone has ever tried such a setup?

I'm not really sure if I understand the tranny you're talking about, as a .75 fifth seems pretty tall to me, but I'm running an aba turbo in my mk1 with an 020 ACD tranny.
(3.67 final drive, 3.45 2.12 1.44 1.13 0.89)
I think its super fun around town. In the rain I can spin all five gears, its hilarious. On the highway its a joke, but it seems you'll be okay with the fifth you have. If that helps?![]()

Thanks for your answer. You're right, some gears seems to be quite long. But my final drive is 4.24 which results is quite short ratios.
