someone told me that even if you sent the money as a gift you can still place a claim.

I'd call paypal right away before it's too late. It's worth a shot.

thats the same excuse he gave me. So after a week i kept calln him. Then after two weeks he replys back to me saying that he never got the money even though paypal is saying that he recieved it. Its just sad cause now i dont think ill ever buy something if i cant physically pick it up. Im gonna call paypal today and see if they can banned him from using there system

I believe I purchased some Spacers from the same user a while back. I cleared my inbox so have no record of a reminder any more. But the username looks familiar.

I paid him, he said he sent the spacers which I never received. Saying they were lost by the PO yet never provided a receipt or tracking number for the item. This is odd because I receive about 10 -15 packages a week and everyone at my local post office knows me by name, yet never had one package lost.

In the end he kept making excuses about how he doesn't have the funds to refund me, etc. Long story short, after emailing back and forth in frustration, I told him to keep the money as a charity donation for his sorry self. Good karma on my part, bad on his.

I wish Vortex would have a more filtered approach to the classifieds like the Audizine does.

People like this are a reason I request stuff I buy to be sent COD to me.
This way the part is at the Post Office when I pay for it.
