And what's the fate of the Audi A1 e-tron?

Similarly terminal, it appears, CAR's sources suggest.

Unlike the A2 concept, the A1 e-tron featured a tiny Wankel rotary petrol engine to provide the charge. Audi claimed a potenial range of 31 miles on electric power alone, then 125 miles with both powerplants working in harmony.

However, the complicated development process, combined with small profit margins on superminis and the sorry state of the European market, appear to have put paid to the A1 e-tron's production hopes.
looks like the A1 e-tron is still in testing and destined for production

yeah....thats great news...I like to go for Audi cars as Audi brand cars are regarded as best vehicles in terms of power, performance and luxury. And the new Audi A1 is not an exception even it is a smaller car. The company has not compromised with technology and features. The car has not come out from its stable but the company has assured the best combination of technology and features along with mills. Take a look of the expected variants of the car. The entry-level petrol variant of Audi A1 is Audi A1 1.2L TFSI. The engine pumps out 63 kW of peak power and belts out 160 Nm of top torque between 1,500 to 3,500 rpm.
