    Fs: 2001 gti 1.8t PRICE DROP!!!!

    Black on cloth, 235,xxx km, 5spd

    Good:

    - new battery, new crank position sensor, new CTS and flange, new downpipe/cat
    - no CEL or other lights
    - uses no fluids
    - runs and drives great
    - AS PER PO: timing belt/serpentine belt/coilpacks and valve cover gaskets replaced in last 25k km
    - all stock with no mods
    - good suspension/brakes/tires
    - alignment done 1 month ago

    Bad:

    - rust at bottom of fenders (no holes and still solid)
    - broken glovebox (have new updated one)
    - AC compressor doesn't turn on (still holds charge)
    - needs windshield for safety

    I bought this car in January after I suffered engine failure in my Audi, as I needed a car right away in order to get to work. It has been a great car with no issues aside from wear/common items which have been addressed. Starts always and is dead reliable. I no longer need it and am putting it up for sale.

    Wow 441 views and it being the cheapest GTI on autotrader, kijiji and craigslist and still no interest. Is the economy that bad?

    Glovebox fixed. I'm really surprised that there is no interest? My description must make the car much worse than it is.

    No has even come to see it, all I get is lowball offers via e-mail in the $500-$1500 range. Wow, I remember buying rust mk2's for this money with more kms.
