Want to upgrade my turbo on my aaz 1.9td. Not sure which turbo i have now but its stock. I have rebuilt my injection pump already and have larger nozzles (GTD 308) so fuel supply is there just want to push more air to increase power. I do not have an intercooler yet but that will be after the turbo or during.

Was looking online at all the forums what I have seen is:

K14 past 15 psi will push hot air
    K24 spools up late
dont know much about the gt-15

Didnt know if anyone did a build and could give any insight on their build, turbo, psi and hp and or acceleration 1/4 mile times ect anything to be able to judge the turbo between another.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

VNT turbos are BITCHIN.. but they are somewhat expensive, and way more advanced of an install than a conventional turbo..

but you get quick spool up times, with LOTS of top end boost..

its like having a variable sized turbo!

otherwise, just install a K24, they dont spool as late as everyone says..

the ones that say a K24 is slow, are running stock fueling.. a K24 will spool before 2000 with proper fueling..

That is pretty much what i have come too as a conclusion of more research and finding out which turbos we have on our other rigs. Now i just have to some how swap the k24 off my friends rabbit without him knowing haha. Or spend some money at kerma.

Does anyone have any suggestions of size for a VNT turbo?

    Mk1 Rabbit 4 door:
I had a k14 turbo on my ecodiesel, that had a modified pump with an lda.

    I had a k24, then a k26, then a vnt15 on a built AAZ with a tweeked pump.
Most fun was the k26, but I would need a Giles pump inorder to not run out of fuel. Now running a vnt15 on an AAZ with a tweeked pump.
