^ As of 05Oct2012.

Picked up 13Aug2012 from Gunther VW.

Does this come standard, if so that is awesome!

I traded my MKVI GTI for the 2012 Beetle, which turned out to be a Dung Beetle (Harr dee harr harr), but thankfully VWoA bought it back and I ordered a 2012 JSW TDI CW with Pano and Nav... I was rather disappointed when a base TDI showed up instead of one with Pano and Nav, but I was told the wait would be 3 more months at the earliest and I would have to drive the Beetle until it came in, so I said no this one is fine and drove it home.

Plans?

Ehh not sure, I have modded my fair share of cars, but for this one I want to it to be all about me. Feel free to input your opinion, but I will probably ignore it. :p

I originally wanted to just go with a set of matched springs and shocks instead of coils, but now after helping install air ride in a friend's MKVI GTI I am kind of interested in it. However, I want a trouble free setup, and air ride is not trouble free.

^ Before the Beetle.

I went to a Dyno day... today. Awkward sentence. I ended up not doing a run, because I was going for lowest HP, but a Honda Fit showed up. Also I didn't know until I got there that it was a Mustang dyno, and my normal shop is a Dynojet, so I wouldn't be able to compare pre/ post power mods. So I just watched and hung out.

^ Planned look, plus possibly the Votex kit.
I still can't believe you gave up your Beetle for a station wagon. How 70's of you. Velour seat cover might look good.

I am not sure why Americans dislike wagon's so much, but hey that is what Americans are good at arrogance.

Gave up my Beetle? VW gave up on attempting to fix it and offered me a replacement vehicle instead. I asked for a JSW and they were happy to oblige. That thing was the biggest pile of ****. VW should be ashamed at producing it.

I went to Caffeine and Octane today in Atlanta. Met up with some amigos.

Its not so much that American's dislike station wagons. Its on a Cool factor of 1-10 station wagons are minus 2 and not a car I would expect people to customize. That's just my opinion but you obviously feel differently. Different strokes for different folks. Hope you have better luck with this car.

^ Yup. Beautiful Miata, not mine BTW. Mine is green and is currently sitting in a garage in Maryland, getting the track star treatment.

Dropped of my SW for tint. Getting 35% on the windows, nothing on the windshield for now. Picking it up tomorrow. The installer is going to break it up over two days and really take his time, too many curves, smaller windows, and tight fitting trim.
