Swapped out the ballast no fix.
Did some coding, now low beams work, but the brights do not.

Do the brights work if you flash and hold the stalk? Or not work at all? If they work but won't stay engaged, you need to check a box in the last byte - says something like, intermittent high beams enabled or something. When you read it you would think that if checked it would do the opposite of what it does.

So you going to get the Flash done at 129euro? I may think about coming down that way we can compare the Malone STG.2 straight pipe with the APR. I have a 6MT also.
If not Ill just put her up on jack stands and start to paint my calipers and maybe go in and do the dampener outlet delete.
And Heck Ive paid for 3 tunes on my car already and the Malone is not my favorite but the only one I could run straight with.

Going to APR HQ tomorrow for the flash.
Probably sticking with that, until I get further info on the TDI Cup Car goodies.

Went to APR HQ today for the BBQ and got a stage I tune while there. So initial thoughts; WTF?! I can't tell at all. What a freaking rip off! Then I go, wait a minute maybe it is in stock mode. Switch to performance mode, VROOOM WOOOAH! SWEET! It feels smooth and pulls super strong. I have put 200 highway miles on it since the tune, but tomorrow I will go to the twisties and mess around, but so far I love it. The horsepower bump is extremely valuable, while the torque bump is crack. It had "enough" torque before, now it HAS torque.
DPF delete is nice, sure, but for 99% of people a simple stage I tune is enough. Next up is DPF delete, turbo, and injectors.

Thanks!
What I love is APR dynos the car, tunes it, and then re-dynos it. They actually show legitimate gains not just OMG UP to 1000horses?!!
Yeah there were two white JSW TDIs there, including an APR sleeper.
$500 + sales tax. IIRC $544.
Regarding the tune:
At first I was upset. I took the car for a test drive and I felt no improvement. I was about to ask for a refund, but then... I thought wait a minute, maybe they left it in stock mode? So I play around with the stalk and set it to performance mode. MUCH BETTER! The horsepower increase is not a lot, but IMO it makes the car much more livable. Before 140hp was just not enough. I also have a 2.5L Golf with 170hp and it has a perfect amount of power for a daily driver. Now I am on 2.5L level, so I am happy. But wait there is more... Torque. Sweet jesus. Does it have torque!
So now the car is faster than ever needed for a commuter car, which I absolutely love. Better passing power, better power for towing/ hauling, and more fun.
MPG, I will be comparing my MPG before and after since I use fuelly.com and I will be testing the fuel consumption based on the same M-F commute. I did notice the MFD on the 200 mile drive home indicated better fuel consumption.
So honestly I do expect the fuel economy to increase rather than decrease, based on an increase in efficiency.
I would highly recommend the tune to everyone at the price point it is at. Think about this, an intake is $250-300 and it doesn't do squat, meanwhile a full remap is $500 and it has proven gains.
