Class Action Bluetooth settlement module coding

I received the class action bluetooth module and was trying to see if it could be coded to display the phone/call info in the MFD between the tach and speedo. When I open the long coding on the module there is no info for the module and no descriptors for the bits.

I did notice from the factory, it has the same long coding as the 9w7 module and also that switching bit 4 from 00 to 01 disables A2DP as it does on the 9w7 module. Can you guys provide any other suggestions to get this working?

I tried doing a channel map and got a csv file when doing adaptation but did not get anything when I doing measuring blocks, it just reads the controller and closes the controller screen so you are back at the channel map window. Also tried doing it through the autoscan with debug level set to 2 and didnt get anything either.

I can email the csv file if needed.

The settlement module is from a 3rd party. VWoA does not support it, it will not work with your steering wheel controls or MFD like the 9W7 will.

Yeah, I had it installed 8/21 and couldn't believe there was no display. Service manager thought it was wrong too and ordered another one.

Back on 9/14 for the replacement and finally one of the service techs chimes in with the bad news.

I'm sure VW was pissed to lose the lawsuit and has done the absolute minimum to satisfy the judgment. I can't say I can blame them for being mad but, to purposely cripple functions of the car seems a little low.
