Multiple misfires on cold start

OK has anybody realy figuired out how to fix the cold start misfires on the 2.0 FSI engine???

With all the experts we have on this forum, no one has a reliable fix yet?? and yes I've done all the suspected parts and valve cleaning.

All parts changed were OEM, IE: spark plugs (Bosch) injectors, coil paks(latest rev) evap control module, HPFP, cam fo0llower (didn,t need changing) valves cleaned, air filter, fuel filter, even changed gas stations.

It's always cyl #4 that misses and only initial start in the morning, once car goes into closed loop, car runs perfect with avg 34 to 35 mpg hwy. It never missis during the rest of the day. I monitor during the day and no misses are detected. It only happens early in the morning when I first start the car after it sits overnight.

What heat range spark plug are you using?

Is the car modified?

If it only misses cold one time, sounds like a little carbon at back of intake valve where its hard to clean.

Also could be ground connection at coil pack itself, consider a mod of all grounds direct to battery to enhance connectivity.

Battery voltage strength cold may be insufficient.

Battery is brand New OEM VW lest than 5 months old

I'll have to check the grounds

Car has no Mods, stock GLI

Since its stock. If all grounds check out OK.

You could try a heat range slightly hotter for the cold start issue with part #

Bosch FR7LDC+ YTTRIUM

Just make sure to use high test fuel. Also monitor the CF in 0x01-08-020

You may find that it will get even better fuel MPG.
