sunroof/moonroof opening by its self

Title says it all.......it opens (tilts up and down) by its self....anybody know what to do ? 55k mkv jetta

#1 Until you find the problem I suggest you remove the fuse or you could have a big mess if you get caught in the rain!
Which leads me to the next question: have you ever left it open during rain? If so, I suggest you remove the switch and set it in front of a fan overnight to see if it dries out.
If not, it is most likely a faulty switch.

well i check it everytime i get out of my car....but ill be driving on the freeway and it will automatically just tilt up and down........also....No i have not left my sunroof open in the rain,

and im not going to remove the fuse.....i tried doing that once so i could hardwire my radar detector....and yeah airbag system went to S*** so not touching the fuse again lolol

Same problem here... I can't seem to find the issue though. I hope someone knows what to do.
