Thread: Can the display be calibrated to display proper MPG?

  1. 08-14-2012 12:57 PM #1
My B5S4 I picked up a little bit ago tells me I'm averaging at around 34mpg which there is no chance I am making that. The car had the AWE K04 kit installed so maybe that is what throws it off so badly?

Anyone ever experience this or know a fix to get it to display accurate results?

yes. there is a diy out there.

uh, i think is gonna be a google search for b5 s4 vagcom mods/ looking through the diy section on audizine.

off the top of my head not sure exactly where, but i promise you 100% there is one and many folks have done it.
VW's are great an all, but they have their purpose and one day I'll figure that out.

Module 17 (Instruments), Adaptation channel 03
    Range is 85 – 115%
    Default is 100%(?)

Accessing adaptation channel 03 lets you edit the value, but you can only edit in increments of 5 percent.
