VW Canada and my 2013 GSW

well my car is sitting in storage lot in Toronto and VW will not ship the car out to me because the the pricing for the car has not been released in Canada yet, so they can't invoice the dealer to ship it to the final location.

anyone get theirs yet? thanks!

In the USA, yes, some people have 2013's (including me), but I assume you're asking about Canada. Price here didn't change from last year.

They held my 2013 JSW at the Port of Houston for a week before releasing it to the dealer... The Port gave the excuse that they were performing the recall to install the diesel only stickers on the gas cap at quality control, but when I got the car they never put the stickers on (thankfully). The lack of invoice excuse is a load of crap... they wouldn't ship the car without one because you need the invoice to secure shipping insurance.

There seems to be a big backlog at the Ports for VW. Just be patient, you'll get it

Mind me asking which dealer? I was at Hamilton VW Friday evening and there were a handful of MY13 Golf Wagons (along with others which looked recently delivered).

Totally out of curiosity - why are you going with MY13 over MY12?

Cool. Picking up a 2012 for my wife this week so was curious if there was something changing in MY13. I was looking at TDI Highline and it seemed like almost all of them were DSG, so difficult to find 6MT.

I picked up my wife's highline 6 speed manaul last week. It took the dealer i.e. 401Dixie VW in Mississuaga 10 days to find/get one. Ours is white 2012 highline with Nav.

I was looking for the same - white, highline, 6MT with or without nav. Took the sales rep a few minutes to locate non-nav in the GTA and with nav in windsor I believe. I guess all the 6MT's get scooped up fast. Really unsure why the dealers I saw would order and have so much stock of highline with DSG.

How do you like it so far? I can't wait to take it for a drive.

Very nice !!! what size wheels are those, looks like 16"? Comfortline?? will look really nice if you lower it and put 18" black wheels on

WE LOVE IT!!! She's been finding excuses to drive it, my 3 year old son loves the panoramic roof, when open he thinks moms car is like a truck....lol
